Alright so your legs are tired, back aching or well lets be honest, you don’t want to walk, but would rather be carted around in style around Oak Bluffs. What are we talking about? Pedicabs of course! They are those funky yellow “chariot meets rickshaw” things cruising around Oak Bluffs this summer doing great things for the community and even greater for battling cancer. How so? Well Vineyard Pedicab operates towards helping get you around town but more so donating proceeds to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Center which is part of the Pan Mass Challenge. Well, enough of the small print as the best part about Vineyard Pedicabs are they’re FREE. Yes we know, “nothing is free” but all you are asked to do is chip in some dough at the end of your ride for that driver who was just sweating it out up Circuit Avenue. It’s your call on the amount, but you’ll be sure to be seen and make a scene while bobbing and weaving through the streets of OB. So kick back, enjoy the ride and you’ll often see Martha lounging on the back of a pedicab as well, she knows how to roll.
