The Lampost
Arguably, the island’s best spots for live music (According to Martha) the Lampost is located on Circuit Avenue better known for late night romps and wildly happy people pouring out of the various bars. This monster of a building presides over Oak Bluffs offering a great range of entertainment and has been doing so for a ton of years. Tucked back inside are some enormous bars and (2) floors of total greatness. Music up top, boozing down stairs and well hold on, there’s a huge bar upstairs too by the venue. Enjoy that as well! The bartenders are great, and there’s a few pool tables to lose some money on (or win, your choice) and after all is said and done, we think you’ll be coming back here for more and more.
